Steadicam Bikes?

Want your own steadicam? Then try these bikes out for size. Amazing. Inspired by the interview I did with Daniel Mini about his steadicam work (see News section), and that more and more filmers are starting to get into it and assembling various camera support devices using gyroscopes, bungee cords, and welded tripods, I thought we'd post this picture up of another DIY steadicam bike hybrid. For years I was toying around ideas with Alex Rankin and even Steve Bartholomew about various rigs - such as bike trailers, add-on seats and even sidehacks - to get those amazing moving camera angles which set your videos apart from the crowd. It makes sense... Mountainbike movie filmers blow thousands on wild trapeze units and deathslide cables rigged up in the woods to follow riders. The filmers from Girl skateboards carry around a skateboard trolley get-up with a ladder acting as a short set of rails, and that works so well. It's a good thing this... Anyway, here's the bike. Sweet.
